Submissions
Whether you’d like full self-publishing support through The Publishing Studio, or wish to be considered for publication under our curated imprint Drurie Books, you can send us your manuscript via email using the simple preferred guidelines below.
Preferred Submission Format:
Please send your manuscript as a Microsoft Word document (.doc or .docx).
Recommended layout:
Please do not include page breaks or complicated decoration or formatting at this stage.
Clearly lay out chapters – start each chatper on a new page.
Use consistent font sizing for the different heading layers.
Use a clear method of differentiating paragraphs.
Use 12 pt clear serif font (e.g. Times New Roman, Garamond)
1.5 line spacing
Use standard A4 (UK/EU) or Letter (US) page size
What to Include:
Your manuscript (ideally as a Word file)
A short synopsis (a paragraph or two)
A note about your aims: are you wanting to fully self-publish (under your own ISBN), or be considered for publication under our imprint (and our ISBN)?
House Style Sheet
Please email us for our House Style Sheet for non-fiction or academic manuscripts that contain a lot of footnotes, citations, and/or a bibliography.
After Acceptance:
We will endeavour to get back to you within 2 weeks with a suggested course of action for your writing project. If you have not heard from us after 2 weeks, please feel free to send another email.

We invite you to see publishing as a creative and entrepreneurial journey, not just a destination. Books sales depend on many factors including: marketing, readership, timing, and your own engagement with your readers.
